Meat in Place is a local family butchers who have been trading since 1959. We pride ourselves on keeping alive the traditional butchery skills and service. Our range of Pork, Chicken, Beef and Lamb is 100% British and is sourced locally where at all possible. All of our products are competitively priced with a wide selection available. ABOUT
Taylor and Hall Event Catering came into being following successful careers in catering within the British Army for both Nigel Taylor and Graham Hall. Nigel's career spanned 22 years, during which time he had the opportunity to cook for Royalty. His career culminated in appointment to the role of Master Chef with 2nd Battalion The Parachute Regiment.
Graham served for 16 years as a chef during which time he served with 3rd Battalion the Parachute Regiment and 216 Signal Regiment both based in Colchester until taking voluntary redundancy.
Both Nigel and Graham left the services in 2011 and continued to pursue careers in the catering business within the private sector.
Nigel established the company on the 18th November 2013 inviting Graham to join him as a business partner till February 2015 when Graham resigned as Director. Since then the company has been run as a family business headed by husband and wife team Nigel and Kelly Taylor.
With all the support a family business nurtures and the new dynamics of the company, it has been able to go from strength to strength becoming the preferred caterer's for Lincoln's Inn in London and adding a new mobile bar service after gaining the personal alcohol license.
No two events are the same with Nigel and Kelly ensuring every event is given the same high quality service and attention as the last, no matter what the budget. This is what has provided us with repeat business and given us our reputation through word of mouth.
Both Nigel and Kelly passionately believe that working closely with the customer and providing outstanding food with great service is the key to the success of the company.

We use only the freshest of ingredients for all our salads which is why we require 48hrs notice on booking.
These salads can either be served buffet style for your event or boxed for takeaway. (Minimum order is 10 ptns)
Our takeaway salads that will be delivered to you, come in two different sizes either main meal or snack size and all come with a napkin, a freshening wipe, sachet of salt and pepper and disposable cutlery.
