A refurbished old coaching house offering a great selection of food and drink, The Red Lion at Marks Tey welcomes you to come and enjoy country dining located centrally in the heart of Marks Tey on the A120. Great drinks, quality homemade pub food and amazing value create a winning combination.

 

The Red Lion Pub In Marks Tey offer there venue for private hire. you are able to hire the restaurant area for your party and from as little as a £20 booking fee when booked with buffet or big group.

To give you an idea of buffet choices, please see our examples below:

Menu 1 - £6 / head
Mixed sandwiches, mixed quiche, sausage rolls, potato wedges, breaded chicken goujons, crisps & nuts

Menu 2 - £9 / head
Mixed sandwiches, mixed quiche, cold meats, pickles, prawns & marie rose, bread selection, potato wedges, breaded chicken goujons, crisps & nuts

Menu 3 - £12 / head
Mixed sandwiches, mixed quiche, cold meats, pickles, seafood selection, bread selection, cheese board, potato wedges, pork pies, breaded chicken goujons, crisps & nuts

A selection of desserts can also be added. Please enquire.

The Bradfield Community Centre can cater for up to 250 people dancing or 150 seated. The Large open hall space has a huge variety of uses, but the venue also includes a lounge area with bar, changing rooms, large car park and surrounding playing fields. The hall has wheelchair access, male and female toilets and a furnished kitchen area. Basically the Bradfield Community Centre has everything you need to create your perfect event.

 

The Hall

  • Approximately 58 feet by 31 feet

  • Double Doors Through To Lounge

  • Available for private parties, events, sporting activities etc

The Lounge

  • Approximately 29 feet by 14 feet

  • Unlicensed Bar (See Extras)

  • Can be hired separately for small meetings, gatherings, workshops, training etc.

Catering-

Use of Kitchen available or we can arrange this for you on request

Bar Facilities-

We can arrange for a fully staffed bar until 11:30pm. A bar extension to 12 midnight is available on request

Tables & Chairs-

The hall has sufficient tables and chairs for up to 250 people. For seated dining events the maximum number the hall can accommodate is 150. Use of tables and chairs is included

Stage-

The hall has a large stage. This can be utilised for many purposes such as hosting the top table or accommodating a band or disco. We can also arrange a DJ or Band if required.

Cleaner services-

We can arrange a post wedding event cleaning service for £30

Bradfield Hall

GREAT BROMLEY VILLAGE HALL

ABOUT

 

Great Bromley Village Hall is a comprehensive community facility that is available for hire by organisations and individuals from within and outside the village, subject to status. Built in the 1920s, it has been upgraded and extended in recent years to offer suitable accommodation for a wide range of activities and functions.

The Village Hall was gifted, via a trust deed, to the Parish of Great Bromley in 1946 by the Crossman family. Overall responsibility for the Hall is vested in Great Bromley Parish Council as custodian trustee. Routine management is undertaken by a management committee.

 

The Main Hall is available for hire and hosts a large open space for Adult & Children Parties or events

Price example for Hall hire is subject to a £15 Booking fee and then from £16.50 Per hour, dependant on requirement, length and times. This will be negotiated for you with the treasurer for you to get the best terms possible.

The hall has a vaulted roof so can even accommodate indoor bouncy castles

Approximate size is 8.5m x 15.0m (127.5sq.m) excluding stage area at one end.
Stage size is 2.8m x 6.2m (17.3sq m) with access from the rear. Can be extended to 3.4m x 6.2m (21.0sq.m).
Stage lighting can be controlled from a gallery at opposite end of Hall.
(lighting has to be fitted extra but is available within the village by request).
Seating capacity for dancing is 120.
Seating capacity for theatre style is 180.
Maximum capacity is 220.
A Badminton court is marked on the floor.
Floor is made of Junkers Beech.
Heating is provided by hot water radiators.

Also available-

Millennium Lounge
Approximate size is 6.1m x 6.8m (41.5sq.m).
Maximum seating capacity is 40 persons.

Committee Room
Approximate size is 3.9m x 6.6m (25.7sq.m).
Maximum seating capacity is 15 persons.

Small Hall     
Approximate size is 4.2m x 11.0m (46.0sq m).
